  • BESIDES the ARJ21, China will also be building larger and more advanced jumbo jets (these jets are the most advanced in the world):

    - C919

    - C929

    - C939

    - CS2010

    - CS2000

These jets will incorporate the world's most advanced technology.

China's aviation industry is expected to become the world's top and most advanced industry by 2018.

    Big dreams. Big planes.

  • it's like a honda or toyota in automobiles. this plane will probably be cheaper and way more efficient than older planes.

  • They used American tooling for this plane, this is not a Chinese design. It is a MD/Boeing 717 with GE engines. Why this would make China a future competitor in aviation I have no idea???

  • Looks a bit like a Fokker 70/ 100!

  • The rear emergency exit is so close to the engines it just makes me nervous. Evacuating passengers could potentially get harmed by the possibly-spinning engines.

  • @segregator236 As the flight of our J-20 stealth fighter, China is already in top 3 in the world regarding the military aviation industry. Jumbo plane is our next goal. Go, China!

  • @segregator236 boeing dont make engines. GE does for the ARJ21

  • @segregator236 boeing dont make engines

  • @segregator236

The C and CS will be the two main lines of jumbo jet aircraft

    There will be C919, C929, C939, CS2000, and CS2010

  • @Godismylife1 plus Brazil, Canada, Japan, and Philippine.

  • @segregator236 The C-series engines will be supplied by P&W, which supplies engines to Boeing 777-series, the PW4000. Previously, they offfered engine on the 767 and 757, as well as the 747, 737, and McDonnell-Douglas airframes. Incidentally, those are "Boeing engines".

  • @segregator236 Boeing engines? Boeing doesn't make engines. They put engines from P&W (American), GE, and Rolls-Royce (British) on their aircraft.
