I had those in big bowls of soup several times. I thought they were onion skins bending not because of the heat but due to the water vapor from the hot soup. You live, you learn...

omg i had this once (octopus balls) and like it was doing that and i majorly freaked out. had to ask a waitress if it was alive who gave me a weird look hahaha but still

It's not alive, it's a thin paper like topping.. It moves around like that because of the heat from that sausy ball. hahaha
