Bare Minerals: my everyday routine!!!

This is my everyday routine when i get ready in the morning, always starting with my favorite foundation primer that is an oil control! i always put about a quarter size amount in my LID and then begin heating up for about 10-15 seconds always remember the matte is heavier then the original so a little bit goes along way! so hope you all enjoy my quick tutorial and i will be happy to answer any questions about your concerns about bare escentuals! i do recommend if you are a women of color and never tried but thought maybe you wanted to try this brand i would HIGHLY suggest the matte finish they carry!

@dizzarony Ofcourse I will! I used a liquid liner on top from my local beauty supply store, my waterline with intense black pencil liner by bareminerals and Katie buxom my favorite buxom gloss at the moment!!!!*Gena*

when the tutorial first started u concealed with a max coveraged face brush did u just pat that on your discolorations? The 2nd part of the question is that when u followed with the full flawless brush buffing didn't that disturb the bare minerals u had just put on or not? I am trying to get that flawless look like u have at the end, simply beautiful.

@cdnelsonrn I had to last summer I had the craziest discoloration due to over picking my face and just plain dark circles! So just pat pat pat, because the oil control primer is helping the minerals stick! So it's not disturbing when I use the full flawless! And I just buffed my foundation to get the best over all coverage! Always remember also to buff in for about a good minute or so, because the more you buff, the more foundation comes out of the brush! Let me know if this helps!!!! :) *Gena*

girl you should be on qvc representing leslies products you are so good ! t So you use bisque after foundation??? I always used it before. And had to buy the well rested after i saw it on you .. Im 42 and think this is a great product and would make a difference in me! I love the matte too.; Just cant live w/o the matte absolutely no shine on my combination skin

Thanks for responding! I like the product. I have a natural look now. I'm still oily (I guess that's just genetics), but not as OILY as I've been w/other products. So some improvement is better than nothing. I think I'll stick w/Bare Minerals for a while.

Any other suggestions you can offer for more oil control? I will go back and purchase the mineral veil. Thank you for your informative videos! By the way, what does *GENA* mean?

I'm totally a Newbie to Bare Minerals! I watched a few of your videos and immediately went to Sephora to try it. I only bought the Matte foundation, to start. Got a sample of the oil control foundation primer. Can't wait to test it tomorrow! Should I have gotten the mineral veil? I wasn't informed about it.

i cant seem to get this to cover my LIGHT acne scarring. Ive applied the concealor b4 and after and done light layers of foundation really buffing it in with the handy buki brush. it takes forever to even get a decent coverage. I wander if my color is too light? I dont wana have to apply wet concealor AT ALL. Dont think i shud have too when liquid foundation covers them.
