The NRA ad was not "targeting" or "attacking" it was just a poor analogy. That does not excuse our president from surrounding himself by children in an attempt to persuade thru emotional imagery...It was a contrived stage made to sell a product. a product you were already waiting in line for. little wonder you were so quick to purchase without giving thought to the stage props being used to sell it to you.

SamSeder I really am against the view you present in this video. For 2 reasons. 1. Your arguments are hard to follow and horribly phrased and articulated. And 2. is that I do not agree with your premises, mainly because I like that "Insane add" because it represents the truth in this matter. It is plain and simple, Obama has made himself a hypocrite because he has armed guards at his children's school, while he denies our kids protection of ANY form. If you ask me, that is what is insane.

What we need is to eliminate the gun free zones that the vast majority of mass murderers are done in. We need to allow teachers, school staff, and mature college students, who have the training and are willing to conceal carry guns to do so. And we need to increase detection and treatment for people with Mental Health issues. Also we need to investigate the affects SSRI drugs have in increasing violence and suicides.

We have many out of work Veterans that would be great guards in our schools.

The problem isn't really guns, it's mentally ill people, it's the dismantled and largely nonexistent Mental Health System - that's no longer there to properly treat and/or house the seriously mentally ill people that end up doing these horrendous acts of violence. We also need tighter monitoring and controls on psychotropic drugs like SSRIs, which cause violent and suicidal tendencies in many people. Let's work on addressing the root of the problem instead of going after a tool.
