  • a 20 20 league was, kapil devs idea, and innovation

BCCI did not like kapils ideas ( no bribes) ,, so they got modi and he did get his way to earn money

Now another issue,,,,, corruption can never be rid off, it can be controlled but not rid, tats the sad part of corruption and india is not gonna get rid of corruption

and the one and only f**k up modi did was challenging tharoor, he is a very good and clever politician who only messes with ppl who messes with him,

  • at the end he is genius , marvelous and a simple target of politics. his main problem was only his friends and relatives could able to taste the money dish.so that has stuck in others mind and those who not got the share had gone against him.

  • I do not like this guy.But i should admitt and say he did what others did not do.One could say he used the Power of BCCI to get rid of the ICL but why did ICL not become so popular as IPL is.In this world one has to use all the resources available to become successfull which was what Modi did.He put together what ICl could not.

Why did not ECB bring into reality of what many say was conceived by them? There was no one disturbing them or inteferring them. Why they did not do it?

  • u think tht u r smart n i noe u r so smart bt, bt keep in mind tht we r nt stupid.

  • arrogant son of a bitch .. won't admit even one mistake .. no wonder he is hiding in london

  • It's a joke to say 20/20 is idea of Kapil dev or Modi, cricket fans should know the history. Please read Wikipedia and enlighten yourself.

The idea of a shortened format of the game at a professional level was discussed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 1998 and 2001

  • sorry, how was the IPL the brainchild of one man (I'm assuming Lalit Modi)? Surely, it's just a fashionable version of the now defunct ICL?!

  • thank god this guy got kicked out .thinks noend of him self and what threat perception he is talking abt while he wasin india he used to get high grade security .Even his useless son used to get benefits of that security.useless prick this guy is

  • Some are saying he is a Magician because of ipl success. I would have accepted it if he has created league for football and if it is success in India

  • A disgraced, self-styled 'architect' of 20-20 format. Truth is that ICL existed before IPL. Riding on the legitimacy provided by BCCI, the IPL replaced the ICL. Had it not been for the strong arm tactics of BCCI, the ICL would have been as popular as the IPL. Mr. Modi mistakenly thinks that it was he who made IPL a brand name; in reality he was riding on the legitimacy provided by BCCI which the organizers of ICL lacked.

  • A framed interview.... It would be better if Mr. Modi does it in the Indian Court of Justice. He should be well advised to play to the audience of Judges in the court rather than play to the media.
