Alfred, a "draftee" in the Hungarian Army, was a POW for six years during and after WWII. Returning home he discovered that 35 of his family members had died in the Holocaust. At the age of 54 he was offered a job in Columbus, Oh that would allow him to pursue his love of sculpting. He now has over 275 pieces in public and private collections around the world.
Alfred, is such an amazing man and I am so thankful to know him and to have him in my life. I love you Al. Nina Menduni
