This was present in the first Touhou Soccer.

Ahh, Master Blade. Hands down the most impressive technique from THS1, and still fairly impressive and extremely useful in THS2 as well. If I remember right, this technique was made as a counter to Mima and Yuka's Trinity Spark, as a means to break past Yukari's Four-layered Barrier save.
