Ferus (the Manx cat) giving High Five

I never taught him this trick. He would sit on the chair at the counter and beg until I fed him. He has a bowl of food on the floor but prefers being hand fed.

Your cat is too cute. They are very smart cats.I have a 3 yr old orange/white manx. He's my ROCKY. He's a dog in a cat's world. He'll retrieves his toys to me. It could be in the middle of the night and he's meowin at me with the toy in his mouth.

Ferux wakes me up in the morning by licking my chin. He does this until I let him out to do his business. He never uses a litter box. He is a DOG>

i used to have a manx cat growing up and it was the smartest cat i've ever owned. he hated using the cat box so we had to let him out everyday and he was a great hunter as well. miss him

@liamcollister LOL so that makes you an expect on pedigreed Manx cats? Not quite. This cat is a domestic with a birth defect - nothing more.  And if you don't have TICA, CFA, ACFA or GCCF papers for your "Manx" it isn't one, either.

I had a mutt cat (product of my spaz housekitty who ran outside and got lost for a week and probably several toms) who liked to play fetch with the plastic seals from milk containers. He reminds me of your manx because he was big, yet graceful (as he never knocked anything down when chasing after his toy) and extremely smart. I had to give him up when I moved but I've always wanted to know what breeds he was...
