try olive oil and natural shea butter - this really helps to reduce inflamation of scars (usually within a week or so) causing them to lay flat with the rest of your skin; in addition, I find that my scars appear lighter over time. Anyways, that's just my two cents! God Bless You and I pray a complete and speedy recovery... :-)

Do I mix them together or put on separately.

are you going to try mederma? I heard it works really well on scars

I am open and I looked up mederma. I am using something called scar massage and I give myself daily massages over the scar. I am about to try the mederma this week and see if it makes difference. One scar is so beautiful. The other is a little bigger but they are both healing flatly save a small area under my armpit!
