Fear the Bamboo Stick! It cannot be underestimated and has its uses. With the best shelling known to Gunlance Mainers out there it is constantly shunned because of its sharpness (designed to be used as a "shell-only" option). Keep in mind the armor setup is only possible with a 3-Slot GL (unsurprisingly the bamboo stick).

Oh man. Call me what you will, but after reading up on the Lance Counter and AGGL (and all it's subcategories) I think I'm done with MH.

Yes; while you can choose not to use such techniques I dislike that they were even implemented. Watching these types of videos makes me feel like an idiot when I play the game without the use of a Lance or GL. I feel like I'm doing it the "noob" way and am making things unnecessarily too hard and stressful.

Not denying this still takes skill, but too easy.

There is really no excuse for your rant to be honest. You have a personal choice or Auto-Guard or not to Auto-Guard. Its really that simple and shouldn't stop you from playing an awesome game.

@Sirlancal70 Nah. Guard +2 is overkill. Guard +1 is really all you need. The wind pressure skill helps alot so I don't get interrupted when placing bombs or traps.
