Teenagers who exchange nude photos of themselves on their cell phones are being charged with "child pornography" and forced to register as "sex offenders" for decades or for life! Even CNN's Mike Galanos admits - "Child pornography charges are too harsh for teens caught "sexting."
These broad-reaching laws need reform so they differentiate between violent and non-violent individuals. Fewer than 10% re-offend according to the Department Of Justice and major university studies, so it is definitely time for a change!
