Part 2 of 3 of the PC Performance Boosting tutorial. Learn the secrets to get rid of unnecessary files, and stack it all together for faster read/write times - the equivalent of removing old paper from a filing cabinet and pushing it all up together.

Quickest:
1. Remove Page File (or defrag it on Windows XP)
2. Quick Defrag
3. Put Page File Back

Better:
1. Remove Page File (or defrag on XP)
2. Defrag
3. Put Page File Back
4. Defrag

Best:
1. Defrag
2. Remove Page File
3. Defrag
4. Put Page File Back
5. Defrag
6. Windows Defrag

@MadManWithMoney It does use space for tempory storage while processing. Once it's finished, you should actually see an increase in disk space.

i use these methods when tuning up someones pc. i tell you one day i was claning up someones computer and the ccleaner removed 160GB in temp files
