  • Kudos to Udos for the upload. This was an amazingly even-handed biography, and I give special credit to the producers for not dwelling on the circumstances of her death. Having been married to a woman very much like Sylvia for two years, I appreciate that they made a point of highlighting just how difficult women like that can be to live with. Very good show!

  • @fajaklaus: then you know my situation too :-)

  • I enjoyed this series very much, thank you.

  • @badimiagirl1 thank YOU :-)

  • I think she was really angry about life when she wrote Daddy.

  • @joye25 a lot of humor as well in Daddy I think. a perfect mix. a read once that she laughed a lot when reading it for a friend.

  • thank you for uploading. I love Sylvia.

  • "....I think it was an in bred fear that what she'd love would leave her sometime, and I think it haunted her all her life, not making it known in words"

I love Sylvia so much, I bought her journals and there is nothing more informative about her life and thoughts..than hearing it through her own words. I feel I can relate to her so much, with the feelings of isolation, fear of abandoment and how it can destroy relationships. How I wish I knew her.

  • @1and2makes4 lol...yeah i guess now we know where sylvia got it from ahaha..no, i dunno, whatever

  • The poem Daddy that Sylvia reads in part 6 of 6 of the documentary has quite a bit missing - not quite sure why this is.

    Stooky

  • really good

  • A really good documentary that was my pleasure to watch again.

  • This poor woman, how she must have suffered I can't imagine

as there is simply no limit to human suffering

  • @BethanyCharlene I think a lot of women feel as Sylvia did,as they are insecure in their relationships

feel like they could be replaced by someone else
