Megadrive and Snes will always be the best systems. No other console can even compete with the amazing gamelibrary of these two. Axelay however is easy one of the best shoot em ups ever.

Get some skills. Also, try easy-mode, add more lives and set every weapon to one button. :)

so true. those games back in the days had way better music than today's stuff.  Streets of Rage, Revenge of Shinobi, anything Konami, Mystic Defender, even Ghostbusters(Genesis), so many...

Well Castlevania has good music regardless of system. Anything Konami has amazing music. And F-Zero had totally awesome music.
