@nickmotture and you think uk invented music?????ooooooooookkkkkkkkkk
kkk.. and they say americans are dumb.... -
@HeavenlyValo I think ousacat123's point is that American television is awkward about the kind of mildly lewd comments Russell makes. Compare how any interviewer here would handle his comments to interviewers in Europe - if you watch some, you'll see they elaborate on his jokes and don't just move on to another topic to overlap his sexual remarks. Enough Americans find him funny, so it's not a bash to Americans as much as it is to some of its avoidance of sexual humor on television.

@Jsd8675 I'm sorry you interpreted my comment as singling out Meredith for her reaction to Russell's mildly lewd comments. If you reread my original comment, you'll see I'm simply making an observation between sexual humor in America and in Europe. Most of the Euro interviewers would elaborate on his lewd jokes, and you don't see that kind of stuff here on American TV. Mere's savvy tactic of moving to another topic is something I could see other interviewers do on American TV, that's all. :)

@ousacat123 I love how everyone generalizes the people of America then acts like they are so tolerant!
-
@nickmotture actually, America doesnt even get the"glory" of the nuke, Einstein made it.. he is German. America doesnt have anything but mcdonolds. damn.. we are fat.
-
Er who invented the internet? It was invented in Switzerland. Who invented the television, it was invented in the UK, who invented music?? Seriously, you think music didn't exist until Columbus discovered America? I'll let you have the nuclear bomb though, well done for inventing that you must be so proud.
-
i love how americans do not know what to do with the way he is!
-
@TheFever77 Yeah, uh hyuk. Like we had to explain Nuclear bombs, television, the internet, music. Yeah, because we're obviously the idiots who happen to invent half the shit in your society. Bust on us some more, you pale sissies.
"I'm just putting it out there, you certainly were..." lol

She seems to be quite a warm person. A big contrast from 90% of the other interviewers on US television. Maybe its the "Brand" effect tho...
