  • I'm a huge fan of Owen's but I don't think that he plays the piano very well in this track, does anyone agree? His voice though is (as always) fantastic!

Maybe someone should have given him a stool!

  • Agree entirely. To put it in context however:

Owen stated before playing this that a japanese girl flew all the way here to see him and specifically requested this song (which he has apparently NEVER played live before this date), he also had to write teh lyrics down and had no idea if he was going to be able to pull it off. All in all I was hugely impressed.

  • It seems like an impromptu performance to me. He's stood up. Maybe it was unplanned to play that particular song... it's not perfect but God it's still utterly beautiful. The tiny flaws make it far more endearing to me. Nice to hear it on piano rather than strings.

  • I don't care about the flat notes/unpracticed piano that everyone seems to be commenting on. The emotion in this was incredible. Tears in my eyes.

  • Nice camera whoever filmed this.

  • Well, there aren't much more than that, i think I heard three or four more than you, but either way, it's just a few notes, though I think they put his vocal performance slightly below his piano performance, if compared here. This is my opinion, but the flat notes are there. And since it was apparently his first live performance of the song, it turn out fantastic.

  • There were two flat notes that I heard. Other than that, I heard a flawless performance.

  • Umm, I have to entirely disagree. Here he struggles with the vocal portion far more than the piano. many flat notes in here. I think this is simply a weaker performance than usual.

Be that as it may, the man is a master songsmith and is always fantastic. Everyone has rough days.

  • i'm melting away.
