Summer '07-Roncesvalles to Finisterre on foot. The journey remains a daily indelible impact enriched with contact from friends around the world, my never-to-be-forgotten memories, a certain smell or song in the air, a dusty road aching to be traveled, or just sitting quietly sipping Rioja wine. I, like others, rejoice in having had the opportunity to experience the camino. I thank you for your posting. The memories that surface when watching are far from fading and I, too, shed a tear...

I walked the Camino this wonderful year of 2009. I will never forget it, ever. I walked from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela. I'm not ashamed to admit you're movie made me cry with fond memories of the Camino passing through my head.

I walked the Camino from Le Puy, France to Finisterre, Spain in 2007.
What could I say...overwhelming.
I thought it would be a lonely walk of penance, but turned out that I was meeting so many people and experiencing so much things I didn't anticipate.

try the Gite d'etape L'Etoile Occitane in Lectoure when you restart the journey (or have you already stayed there?). The lady that runs the place is cool (speaks English and Spanish as well).

god bless you,

a great presentation-I just arrived home from the Camino and this presentation captures it all. Go for it, even if you do it in stages-take the first step. You won't regret it!!
