The 1/4 mile high buildings blasted to dust and high velocity ejecta to grade in less than 11 seconds (leaving an uncrushed core, UNCRUSHED!). That is 1/10th of a second of resistance for every ten floors of collapse above freefall. The energy available would be mass and velocity. @Gungo1994 The budget for the Memorial and Museum project, funded by private and public funds, is $530 million, with an additional $80 million grant from New York State for the construction of the museum pavilion. Of the $530 million, $350 million has been raised by the National September 11 Memorial & Museum through private donations and the remainder consists of federal grants through the LMDC. Yeah, and notice that the 9/11 memorial hasn't been completed some what 11 years later. It only took 7 years to build both towers and wtc building 7. 7 years with building technology of the 1970's.
