In partnership with 6Music, BBC Electric Proms commissioned a New Music Short in 2009, by rising director Keith McCarthy. Filmmakers were asked to submit creative ideas for short films inspired by new track 'Dog Days Are Over' by Florence and the Machine. Selected from over 225 entries, Keith worked with producers at Colonel Blimp and received a production budget of just £5,000 to make his film. The result is quite amazing.
Synopsis: The Ganzfeld Procedure is a technique used in the field of parapsychology to test for ESP. When two patients meet during this eponymous experiment something unexpected happens - they fall in love. Inside their minds!
Director: Keith McCarthy
Producer: Sarah Tognazzi
DOP: Christopher Sabogal
Editor: James Rose
Sound Design: Ryan Teague
Executive Producer (BBC): Pamela Casey
Executive Producer (Colonel Blimp): John Hassay
