More Americans should know about this guy. I am a huge fan of Billy Cobham, Vinnie Colaiuta-legends of drumming, and Morgan is on his way to their stature. Check out Mats/Morgan Band, Kaipa, Fleshquartet, and see the complexity and groove that he displays. Modern Drummer honored him- BRAVO!

Iv'e been a drummer for 5 years now. Sad to say, Iv'e never really had a favorite drummer because nothing really stood out to me you know. Mike portnoy, danny carey, Neil Pert, Tomas Haake, they're all the ones I most enjoy, but Iv'e never had a favorite that was really like WOW! you know. They're all sooo great but, never really have something that stands out to ME! I just found that drummer. Morgan Agren. I will always love this guy!

I first saw Morgan play on that video of 'Sol Niger Within' with Fredrik Thordendal, which i heard of through Meshuggah. Over the last couple of weeks hes really stool out to me as not only a great drummer but a good musician in general. I totally see it charlezurich.
