Wario Land 3 - Video Walkthrough - Episode #55

The 55th episode... now in The Colossal Hole. Like the previous treasure, you HAVE to do this during the daytime... nighttime won't work, period. During the day, the owl will sleep on the ground, allowing you to use it. (During the night, it flies way above you, preventing you from getting to him.)

Now, controlling the owl is simple, especially if you've played Wario Land 2. Just use the Control Pad to move him. Holding it down will make him move faster than just tapping it. Just be sure not to hit spikes, or else the owl will let go of you! Oh, and press B to get off him. (All of this is covered if you hit Start and go to Action Help.)

After that, you'll end up in a room with a fire-breathing sun and some polar bears. You have to go a ways to the right, and then let the sun breathe fire on you. You'll run down; make sure to hit the fire blocks when you turn into a flame. Get the key, go all the way to the left, climb the ladder, and let the sun breathe fire on you again. This will allow you to get to the chest, which is another new power-up. It allows you to jump higher and bounce off of enemies (yes, you will need to do this a lot). You know, I thought this game was already like Metroid to begin with, but now there's a power-up that lets you jump higher? Oh well, it's not exactly the same thing anyway.

WTF my game only has day for everything but east and i dont got that button to change it

Only day for everything except for east? Weird... I've never heard of that happening before. The game is supposed to start out alternating between day and night in the north, west, and south areas, and night all the time in the east. Then there's a treasure that makes it alternate between day and night in the east as well. And as for a button, that's another treasure you have to get in the game.

my gane's messed up. in the east section it's always night time even when its daytime everywhere else. i can't reach the owl at all.

That's not a glitch. It's supposed to be night time all the time until you get two certain treasures. They can be found in Episodes 51 and 52.

If you have the high-jump power-up, you can reach the owl to take you to this treasure, except the sun is now the moon, and therefore spits out stars. Also, the icy bears are now fire-bots.

Yeah, but remember... reaching the owl is HOW you get the high-jump power-up. It's like a Catch-22 situation.

Odd... in this game Pegasus Shoes make you jump higher, unlike in Zelda.

It's not necessarily like metroïd, it's just they are giving you one by one, the powers you all had just before in Warioland 2
