@jaydaelbertstein sry dude, get your facts straight, invertebrates have such a low number of neurons, they don't feel "pain" they sense the death, but they have no emotions, including pain, regarding that fact. Also boiling water kills em in about five seconds also, if you're that worried, stab em in the head, that's instant.

@Dorisequador When you plunge a lobster head first into a rolling boil, they are dead within seconds. Any movement afterwards is just muscle spasms and nerve twitching; the lobster is totally dead though.
