We are proud to present our 9th release that comes once again from our Russian brothers, that are causing quite a stir on the trance scene these days.

The man behind Specific Slice project, Sergey Shubin, who has been creating music since 2004, is here to present us his latest EP that contains Death of Aphrodite & Gorgon Medusa tracks with remixes by Damian Wasse and Sensi.

Original of Death of Aphrodite is not so dark as you would imagine but it has that unique deep feel in the break which for us feeled like being underwater until the Aphrodite called us to dive out and introduced us to the synths that builded up to a great progressive trance track.

The follow up track in this EP is Gorgon Medusa thats more uplifting but also quite more darker, and has an amazing synth lead line perfectly pitch bent to stay in your head for some time..

If however you're not content with the original of Death of Aphrodite it's time you hear the remixes coming from Russian talents Sensi and Damian Wasse.

Damian Wasse really pushed those faders as far as they could go and translated the original to a banging uplifting track, introduced a soft piano and a new lead in the break that blows it out quite nicely in the drop.

Sensi however felt quite inspired with the original of Death of Aphrodite and created 2 mixes of his. One is the club mix and the other one is under his Dark Dynasty alias. These mixes are quite similar, with a difference of a club mixed being aimed at the dancefloors obviously and a Dark Dynasty mix has an extra piano line added to the break. Sensi nailed perfectly both mixes, but Dark Dynasty mix really stood out for us, as he brought out more sorrow emotions that this track was crying out for. Therefore making it a lead track in this whole release for us personally, thus the reason we decided to feature it in this promo video.
