Yum, yum!

Ingredients for batter: 175 ml skimmed milk (or a little more), medium size egg, 110 gm flour, a little salt (there's plenty in the sausage), pepper.
Also 150 gm of pork sausages & oil.
Equipment: oven preheated to 210-220C, Pyrex dish 15cm base diameter & 7cm high, mixing bowl, egg whisk, frying pan, and huge appetite.
cooking time 35-40 mins,
eating time 5 mins 10 seconds.
Wash the dishes before things start to grow on them!

  • My mum would give you a proper ear-bollicking about the state of your oven. In fact if I tell her about it she would probably want to come over and give it clean herself.

  • @TheSecondFoundation just try the recipe in your nice clean oven then.

  • MAN I THINK YOU NEED TO CLEAN YOUR OVEN!

  • @yusufmehmet188 sandblasting might work.

  • Just enjoyed your toad-in-the-hole. FANTASTIC was able to use left-over sausage and onion gravy, from yesterdays sausage and mash meal! Thanks

  • @TheSecondFoundation Actually my oven is dirty, my mums coming round Sunday to clean it.

  • @2ndviolin lmao

  • No, just crunchy! It's difficult to get the interior cooked without drying out (& burning) the surface.

  • it's BURNT!
