It only shows that Jeff is a well-crafted musician. I LOVE those experimental albums from the thrash bands. I Like Load, Reload, Risk and Remains. Just forget for a moment its Annihilator and enjoy it for what it is. Really nice grooves, some experiments with electronic music. Exploring new territiories really opens you up for new things(especially if you are a musician). There are many overlooked gems from the 90s.

jeff did very well at this, annihilator IMO are the one of the only bands that wrote decent music in the 90's, shame every generation has its era, and the last 15 years havent been great :/
