Princess Mary 15436 - 2 inch scale live steam Fowler BB1 ploughing engine

First steam up of my superbly engineered engine, made by an ex tool maker
I purchased it in 2008 and am now busy adding more details and finding out the history of this model and the real engine which was fully restored back in 1999

If anyone can offer more about the models history then please do so

Hi if i am going to get a 3 inch scale fowler ploughing engine how do i attach a a seat on it and where would you sujest to get one from thanks jay

A 3 inch scale one would be very hard to come by, they are rare indeed and would no doubt cost a small fortune. I've only seen one sold on station road steam and another I saw was completely scratch built exactly as the real thing and woul fetch a kings ranson if ever sold

I cannot help you with the seat, I would suggest looking round at other ideas, if and when you find one

various dealers on web, search for model live steam traction engines to find them. range from 3-18k, this one came in around 7k

also look on ebay !!

i'm about to purchase a 2" scale case steam tractor, so it's nice to get a little preview! haha. it'd be great to see some more videos of this engine steamed up!
