Here's my second annual Accident as Art (AaA) exhibition.
Last year's definition of AaA still holds:
Painful as wrecked aeroplanes are to behold, there's an artform in the lines and curves that beset our fallen angels.
Below is the slideshow of 2011 accidents that I found artful in some way. Pictures were pulled from US National Transportation Safety Board documents from prangs that occurred in 2011. No pilots were killed in the making of this slideshow (seriously - no fatalities resulted from the prangs!)

more interesting than it is "art" in my opinion... you might as well be taking pics of car accidents of crushed soda cans and be saying it's art

I think it's different. I probably didn't get the words right. It seems to me that the people taking pictures of downed aircraft take special care, perhaps unknownigly, to show the birds in their best light. Angles, lines, colours form interesting and, I think, artistic angles and themes.
