@sunfyre018 It is and it isn't. There's been live action and graphic novel 'Journey to the west' adaptations that held the name Saiyuki almost a decade before dragonball was published. You're probably right about dragonball being older than this particular series though.

umm...no.
actually these "bitches" stole the name from the 500 year old Chinese legend "Journey to the West". However, since it is actually based on that legend, it's not really stealing, it's just being accurate. The Goku on DBZ is a much milder adaptation of the same legendary character, Sun Wukong, or as he is known in Japan, Son Goku, the Monkey King.
