Solidarity with Austria Salzburg

When Red Bull bought Austria Salzburg football club in 2005 and banned supporters who failed to adopt the firm's corporate name and colours, they hadn't reckoned with the tenacity of the club's most dedicated fans.

For the right to wear their traditional violet and white with pride, they fought the new regime every step of the way; prompting unprecedented scenes of terrace solidarity across Europe and eventually paving the way for the reformation of their club, Austria Salzburg.
