Jesus is the only hope for salvation from the guilt of sin so that we don't go to hell when we die nor burn in the lake of fire forever. Proverbs 21:2, "Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts." Proverbs 11:8, "The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead." Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles."
