News Update: Baker Awarded Contract with City of Augusta, Georgia August 16, 2010

The LPA Group Incorporated, a unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE:BKR), was awarded a two-year contact with the city of Augusta, Ga.

Elham Farzam, P.E., principal and senior vice president commented, "LPA has been very fortunate to have served the city of Augusta for many years performing work at the airport and looks forward to continuing to provide cost efficient services while ensuring a quality product for the city, We look forward to continuing this relationship."

The contract includes projects like road widening, drainage improvements and traffic improvements throughout Augusta and Richmond County, Ga.

Baker is currently trading 0.47 percent lower at $33.85
