It's sad that Apple switched over to this Intel stuff. Now Mac is just yet another x86 PC. Mac used to provide a true alternative platform in the days of PowerPC... sigh...
What would have been cool would've been if Apple stayed with PowerPC and went to the Cell processor when it came out. "G6", heh. Now THAT would have been a COMPUTER!

MAC is ismple a very bad computer, its ridicolus to use. (i know my english arent that great) i would have choosed a pc at anytime.

times change you know intel was at one point really slow power pc was leading the way but the swiched cos they began to see the slowness in around 2002

lol apple did testing to try and find a good CPU i think they tested the AMD processor on a copy of tiger 10.4.2 i belive and the AMD melted it couldn't handle the power of the OS thats why most macs are core duo i love apple so much its cool better than windows crappy AMD

The Intel ship was a slow thing... The IBM was waaay faster then the Intel... But at these days the Intel is faster then the IBM, and since apple are smart, they youse Intel.

Well if I had to choose an OS that wouldn't be able to use all the programs that Windows could use I would choose Linux. I just believe at time Mac OS's leave to much up to the machine and if you actually want to change something and the Mac OS doesn't do it automatically then I would be screwed but that is just my opinion.

I agree, ive never seen any sort of intelligent post by a person who hates macs... probably because anybody who hates them isn't very intelligent. They obviously don't know much about computers.
