i got muscovey ducks can you tell if they are male or female>?

yes, males are bigger, and have much more red in their faces, their tail is square-like, the female's is shorter and a bit more triangular-like. The biggest difference is size and the male's face is a bit more round and has more definition, the female's is a bit loger.

Nice... Those birds look like domestic ducks not wild... were they released in a protected area or a zoo or something? Sure alot of them!

@wisfamily They were released within a private property, of my grandfather, we check 'em constantly, take food and stuff, often they wonder off into the neighbor, who has ducks too

We live in Costa Rica, a tropical climate is normal here.

I see... There are alot of them. You dont have cold winters there like we do here so I bet they love their new home. Here lakes and ponds freeze over in winter and there is no food for the ducks left on them... Good luck and thanks for posting!

They are may ducks, they where too many so we released them in some lakes my grandfather owns
