Wow all the enthusiasm that went into producing a movie about outdated technology.
We're missing this spirit today.

@daniloreyes2 No it is 50kA. It was a spot welder, using two electrodes an immensely high current is passed through the metals for a split second to fuse the materials together :)

Oh' thank you!
My first experience with electronics was on the day I was cut from my 9th grade baseball team. My dad took me to radioshack. He was a radar man in the Navy where he learned tube electronics. It wasn't until I saw the connection between my love of electric guitar and electronics that I really became interested. He taught me speaker rewinding. I begged him to show me how to get distortion on my Fender Bandmaster.Dad-'Why would you want to do that?'. He regretfully showed me.(lol).

Nice video. must be 50,000 volts?
too bad workers used their hands to touch the parts before the coatings, maybe the tubes would have lasted longer, to compete with the solid states.... LOL. well at least they are coming back, as the vinyls are too.

Bring back tubes!

Free energy has been here for a while ,But a few ppl make too many billions from our energy needs to let this technology be known,Get the blueprints for a real Magnet motor free enegy machine at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Be the revolution!

Do you get the sense of pride in work done here? Just like workers these days.........NOT!

Incredible video!! Fantastic glimpse at the technology that continues to drive amps like the Rambler and 6V that Carr manufactures.
Awesome! Where did you ever find this movie?

I found it in my VHS tape storage closet, where it had been for 10 years after a friend made a copy for me. I don't know where he got it, but his parents worked in the broadcast industry. It appears to have been transcribed to video professionally.
