This episode is based on a viewer's question about using the Olympus FL-50R flash with the E-620 in manual mode. You'll also want to check out my blog - http://binarygraphite.blogspot.com/ - as it's supplemented with additional information and links to sites describing this topic in detail. • Great tutorial on the FL-50. Very informative. I would love to see one on the Super FP function. The FL-50R also has a slave function as well as remote control.

  • @UltraOffie Thank you! Actually, FP would work pretty much the same way, except that you could use higher shutter speeds than the max sync speed. But generally that mode is useful if there is a lot of light (e.g. sunny day). And thanks for rounding out the FL-50R's capabilities, it's quite a robust little unit.
