This is the version of Primal Rage 2 of the bios, intro and selection screen video, the unreleased/unfinished arcade game.

In the BIOS you can see the list of the characters that were to be playable, the list being:

Sauron, Blizzard, Talon, Vertigo, Armadon, Diablo and Chaos as the returning characters.

As for the new characters: Necrosan, Slash Fang, Malyssa, Arik, Keena, Shank, Sinjin, Kaze, Xaio Ming or Tor.

As you can see in the control check part of the bios Primal Rage 2 was to have a 6 button control panel as opposed to the standard 4 button in the first game.

  • If only a team got together to bring this back. Thanks for the upload btw. :D

  • @LoveinLoss I completely agree. I would still love to see this game playable at some point.

  • Holy Balls, where are the giant dinosaurs and gorillas? Is this Primal Rage or Killer Instinct?

I may be in the minority here but thank GOD this piece of crap was never released. If I want to fight as puny humanoids, I'll play Mortal Kombat.

  • @cujo55544 Holy Balls indeed, cujo. Thank you for your contribution to the Internet.

  • @ScheissNUssen what really distinguished primal rage from Mortal Kombat if not the awesome Dinosaur characters that look almost like they were designed by Ray Harryhausen? And yeah I know the little human characters occasionally 'transform' into their god counterparts, but is that really necessary?

  • @cujo55544 From what I was told by someone that beta tested the game, was that you could transform into a dino at any point in the game. That lead to a ton of combo possibilities and was really fun. There really aren't many games out there that have ever done morphs mid-combo, but later came games like some of the 3D MKs that let you change fighting styles mid combo, which is similar but broken.

The Primal Rage developers knew how to fix broken properties, so it could have turned out great.

  • but at the end of the first game, it said something would challange them

  • @cujo55544 those people turn into those giant dinosaurs and gorillas

  • People should do their research before criticizing. They aren't human characters technically, they're "avatars" used by the Dino/Ape characters to fight for them. According to the developers who were in the process of making the game, each avatar character could transform into their respective Dino/Ape counterpart. Shame it was cancelled, looks like it could have been a really cool game.

  • From what I've read regarding this game, the humans basically were chosen by the previous dino/ape characters to fight for them and eventually release them from the new antagonist. I'm wondering, would the humans be able to fight the dinos in versus mode? Looks like we won't know for sure.

  • @Xjerp It's a lazy stupid sequel that misses the point of the original, and I suggest you suck a fart out of my ass through a straw.

  • For all the people that think the dinosaurs and the gorillas are now HUMANS in the sequel, your mistaken.

  • @cujo55544 The dinosaurs and the gorillas are in this, don't put Killer Instinct in this,

its a great game, so I suggest you take what you said back...

  • Why are they people? That sucks.
