David Canter shows how the location of Jack the Ripper's crimes could reveal where he lived and discusses how this helps to assess the 'Diary of Jack the Ripper' allegedly authored by James Maybrick as discussed in Dr Canter's book Mapping Murder.
@RIPrepublicfilms think about it , no cctv, no cops with cars , no forensics, no finger prints , cobbled streets with loud police boots on and how is he supposed to get caught , you would have to walk on him at the right time to catch him ,
besides he was dressed as a woman , and the cops were dressed as woman looking for a man
@RIPrepublicfilms he killed to silence, he could have killed 5 woman a night if he was doing it for fun , it took him a while to kill all 5 girls , becuase he had to get them at the right time at the right place . in ten weeks he could have killed many more , but he knew all the victims , he killed to silence did the royal prince
i dont think he lived in the white chapel area. if he could control himself enough to stop killing (assuming he didnt die at the end of his murder spree) then he wasnt an impulsive killer and he could actually think out his crimes and strategically plan them. if he wasnt killing on impulse then he was probably smart enough to not kill in his own neighborhood but they are right when they say he was familiar with the area. he also was obviously very intelligent and most likely wealthy
