    it's not Latvian language.

  • One cop, Russian, wearing civil clothes, stood between the Alpha (Latvian Special Police Force) and angry people and tried to prove them it's not police fault that caused this riot and the whole situation in the country. Crowd answered, in Russian, that they are not standing against the police either, but against the corrupt government.

Both police forces and crowd were international, with both Latvians and Russians (and who knows how many foreigners? this region is full of hotels).
