Here Zack talks about the challenges on bringing the Watchmen graphic novel to the big screen. Zack has previously made the Spartan adaptation 300 and zombie flick Dawn of the Dead.

are you guys kidding? zack snyder is a fantastic director, one of my favorites. He's definatley visioary and did watchmen fantasticley

The fact that  he was able to pull off a 3 hr film was a milestone. The novel is lenghty and he was able to shorten it and make the concept of the story come through on the silver screen, he was true to the characters and the story except for a few needed tweaks that were done in a tasetful manner. SOOO ALL THE CRITICS WITH NEGATIVE AND REDUNDANT OPINIONS NEED TO JUST SHUT THERE MOUTHS

his films are shot in a STYLIZED fashion. That's why there was the slight sepia tone to 300, and the reason the battle scenes were shot in that pause-go method.

i enjoyed this movie, although i really wish it could've been more than one film..it should've been 3movies 3hours a piece..that way we could've gotten the complete watchmen experience.

are you takin piss? he is amazing, he took a big risk with this movie, and he needs to win something for it. it was absolutely brilliant!

Snyder is great at Graphic Novels. 300 + 2( or whatever it will be called) is being created too! Snyder will return if he likes Miller's idea. Cool.
