Dr Naresh Trehan Part I

'Hum Kalam' is a popular 'Talk-show' program regularly aired by the Doordarshan channel -- DD Urdu. Tehseen Munawer, son of late Janab Shri Parwana Rudaulvi, the pillar of Urdu journalism, is the anchor of this program. In each of these programs Mr Munawer interviews a new, popular, versatile personality by putting pertinent as well as interesting questions. Dr Naresh Trehan is the personality interviewed by Tehseen Munawer in this video.

Dr. Naresh Trehan was the founder, executive director and chief cardiovascular surgeon of Escorts Heart Institute and Research Center (EHIRC). After leaving the EHIRC he became the Founder Chairman of Medanta- the Multi-super Speciality Hospital in Gurgaon. Dr. Trehan has been president of the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery. He has received various awards like Padmasri and Padmabushan.

Dr Trehan shot into fame recently when he attended Anna Hazare, when the Gandhian was on indefinite fast pressing the government to accept the Jan Lokpal
