Some people just don't seem to like The Doctor and his travelling companion, Leela. Tom baker is The Doctor in this classic BBC clip from 'The Sunmakers'.

  • It will be released later this year

And there are plenty of Doctor Who stories as yet unrelased on DVD, but they're getting there.

  • Funny this never was released on DVD...but all the other episodes have been.

Best Doctor Who Episode ever IMHO.

  • iz a tame lawd nawn as the duck-tour

  • this is such a real portrait of American corporate top management.. I wouldn't doubt if this is taken from a true story with a sci-fi twist

  • it won't be long before this is the US it's almost there already

  • Indeed, I think the Doctor loves subversion in general ;)

  • Fair point; given the Collector's evident obsession with money, that view on the Doctor's actions WOULD fit his personality...

  • Perhaps he interprets 'economic subversion' as anything that doesn't support profit-making.

The Doctor is a bit of a rogue, a wanderer who does as he pleases and helps people without looking for financial reward. He's certainly no capitalist.
