Breast feeding in public?....the very fact that this question gets so much negative commentary reveals how twisted are our north American values about healthy child rearing. In nearly ANY other country, breast feeding anywhere is unquestioned as normal. But in North America, it's sexualized and made dirty.

They're BREASTS, people!  BREASTS have been feeding kids for millions of years. The human species wouldn't be here without BREASTS. How can anybody have a problem with that?

and for those of u who think mothers who breastfeed in public should put a blanket over them. well would u like ur head covered while u r eating? nursing ur child is a perfectly normal thing. and its people like u who make it hard on young moms like myself to want to breastfeed their child. if someone has a problem with me breastfeeding in public well the can look away. it is a law that u can breastfeed in public now.

so ive read most of the comments and most of them r ignorant comments. i am a 21 year old mother of a 13month old and i never once thought twice about not breastfeeding my son in public. if he needs to eat then i am going to feed him. i am also all for self weaning. and saying someone deserves to get raped is not cool. have u urself been raped? if so did u deserve it? im sure ur answer will be no u didnt deserve it. its the same thing NO ONE deserves to get raped. and for those of u who think

@Lemon020202 yes that is another aspect of breastfeeding for life...the attraction of sickos...the problem is, those idiots get them horny and the asshole will turn a curb and rape an innocent girl instead, and it is just plain disgusting, to bf kids past one year, and if so NEVER in public without cover up...after 1 yr. there is NO benefit anymore anyhow it is medically and scientifically proven.

@KathleenMeyers63 Thank U! you know I was breastfed too, by my mother until 6 months back in 1982. I`m fine & my mother wasn`t a pig like cozmikgate that also is a crazy person telling every person that doesn`t agree with her, she has posted like 12 comments to me sometimes she doesn`t even realize i`m the same person i just ignore her. She`s a pedophile! Trust me most people agree with us, It does more damage psychologically to their 5 or 6 year old, they don`t get attention-hubby cheats!
