@10Effervescence while you are waiting for bragajr63 i thougt you need some help about parallel parking i think you should have 3 cones in the front and 3 cones in the back of the car put the cones next to the curb the cones should be 5 feet longer than your car and 5 feet wider than your car so you can have plenty space which was about the same distance when i took my road test i will try to show a video so i can get an idea of what i am talking about i will post the videos very soon

help please. when parallel parking during the test, does both hands stay on the steering wheel when reversing? or did you have just your left on the steering wheel and placed your right hand on the back of passenger seat ?
an answer would be greatly appreciated. thanks

@luckycharms2091 I only had my left hand on the steering wheel while reversing when I took the test (and passed). I hope this helps.

I live in New Jersey, and I will be taking my road test in three days. Correct me if I am wrong, but a vehicle's two tires that are facing the curb must be at least six inches away?

@Steven197981
They must be within six inches of the curb. I've been told that some instructors will actually measure this physically to ensure you are within six inches.

@wizkid057 I have one more question. When you begin to back up into the space, do you have to be looking behind you while doing this?

@Steven197981
When I took my test I used my mirrors and looked back physically. I honestly am not sure which is required, if any.
