@TheBudhistpunk Because it's only obvious that it's better to embrace truth and work with what's real, instead of have a false hope that is nothing more than placebo. You're implying that superstition is fine because it makes people feel safe, but that's cherry picking - superstition doesn't just make people feel safe, it makes them feel scared, irrationally and unreasonably scared.

science and religion are two opposites and they are the same, black and white thinking is always wrong whether from religion or science. individual spiritual awakening is prohibited by the religion and by the church... individual scientific discovery is prohibited by religion and science. both keep people stupid and undeveloped.
