@doddzesrailexchange the best way to beat things like that is when theres a railtour and everyone bails off it for a photo, 3 jobsworths cant stop 400 odd bashers and 50 photters from getting a shot then
filming is allowed at New Street all you do is go to the station mangement sign in and they give u a badge its the same procedure at all network rail run stations
I don't think taking cams into New St is allowed anymore, I asked for permission last year and the guy at the main foyer said I would be hauled away and never seen again if I did......

I have been 2 times and i am going for
a 3rd time 2morrow and on every occasion my mam has phoned the station to say i am comming they might not allow filming in the peak period like
7am to 9am and 5pm to 7pm i know at Leeds station filming is not allowed between 5pm and 7pm

I asked and was directed to an office at New Street, where I met someone who told me in no uncertain terms I could not. Maybe I should try again.

Not many people there. Birmingham New Street is mainly packed full of people on each platform. Good Video.
