Occupy Oakland protestors after the police raid

October 24th, 2011. Thousands of Occupy Oakland protestors attempt to retake the plaza from the police forces. After threats of chemical weapons and arrest, protestors continue marching through downtown Oakland, regrouping at Snow Park, then marching back toward Frank Ogawa Plaza. Protestors lock arms to keep the peace between the crowd and the police, but the favor is returned with more violence, tear gas and arrests.

I wish I had better footage of the tear gas, but thankfully others were brave enough to stay in the front lines to capture it.
