Bella's Lullaby Chapter 6

When I regained conciousness I ws sure I was nowhere near where I fell asleep.. And completely and totally alone. I was sumwhat already used to being "in the dark", but considering I was the only one and I was LITERALLY in the dark, I started to flip out.. A little voice inside my head said: "You're going to be fine, just relax and reach out.. Maybe He's here somewhere" I have no clue WHY my concience was speaking to me now, or WHY it was telling me I should trust him, but I guess ths makes up for the time I Pepsi over Coke.. **author's note: Dumb judgment..smh..** I listened to it, and reached out for him, and I felt something cool, and hard to the touch.. "Edward?" I heard a giggle. "No, silly! Alice.." It was then when I decided to open my eyes... and staring at me, with a doubtful, yet playful expression, was Edward's sister Alice. She grinned when she saw my disappointment. "Who were you expecting Bella?" My better judgment told me not to answer but the little voice protested, so I peeped, "Your Brother..". She threw her dainty head back and laughed, and when she was finished, Edward walked in. My mind went blank, and all the questions I meant to ask went jumping out tha window. **Author's Note: AT DIS ONE!** He smiled, and looked across the room. Then and there I realized where I was, I stood up, looked around and said loudly, "Why are we in my Grandpa's house?? Where is he??" Edward's smile faded a little, and he came towards me slowly, as if not to frighten me.........too late. I think it's safe to say I was freakin out.
----------------------------------- I was so cofused as to how she knew where she was. I thought she'd never been here before. I scanned Alice's thoughts but she said nothing of where she was to her. This is going to be more difficult than I thought.. "Bella.. I'd like to explain to you why we're here, but first I must know when the last time you came here was.." I tried to be polite as I could. "I've never been here," Her voice was confused, and distraught. She looked around, obviously trying o gather her thoughts. "I saw it in pictures.."
"That your mother showed you?" Alice added.
"Yes."
