@SvvErVeN I already do have a 98 mustang GT also. I couldn't afford a new GT at the time I bought this one. I got the V6 for a really good deal brand new. I pretty much just use it as a show car now.

@guyd37 I already have a 98 GT, thats the performace car. This car is my show car. If I can find a doner car, I'll do a v8 swap before I ever get rid of it. This V6 currently puts more horsepower down to the wheels than my 98 V8.

This six isn't too bad. Just hate the differences between v8/v6 for these years. The bumpers, engine, and driveline. it just seems like a waste cause there really isn't any good aftermarket for these either. Custom intake, ported heads, and custom turbo= 400hp on stock motor(maybe). But it's like 10k? Just a turbo gt=475rwhp. I've had a 2000 v6 and it was ok but all bolt ons its only 250 at most.

is it just me or do headers improve the x pipe dual conversion much more?

Sounds like a small V10 ;-)

@dranB23 Maybe its because I had a 2 step rev limiter programmed in, if you even know what that is.
this is a show car? if i ever go to a car show and there is a dressed up v6 mustang i would just make fun of it

Long tube headers or shorties and if it really doesnt change much whats the point? on a college students budget is this a worthy upgrade to add to my list

@Stopher200 I put in shorty headers, you'd benefit more from long tube headers but it would require more exhaust work. Both headers do add more power.
