@Bluebirdsims, actually, Chris' name was neither Christabel nor Christine. It was Christen. I have the episode where she marries Snapper in 1974, and "Christen" was definitely the name used by the minister. "Christen" is also in the show's original bible, as written by series creator William J. Bell. :)

To be honest, those characters had some of the best storylines and plot twist during their run on the show. The period that you sited (1976-1982) was when the show really started to become even more popular. The whole 90's decade was the best years (IMO) for Y&R. The show today is a damn disgrace to Bil Bell's legacy.
Whoever is writing the BS for this show now, has ruined it big time.

@TheYoung450 well not all characters on the show have to be wealthy to be interesting. Victor does stink up the show quite a bit himself.

Although I wasn't born until 86' and didn't begin fully watching Y&R until 1997 (when I had the chance), I've had the chance to see classics of Y&R from back in the day (thanks to CBS and Youtube) and I liked the original families of Y&R. I've also had the chance to read old storylines between 1976-1982 and what I didn't like was the Lorie/Leslie/Lance/Lucas 4-some.

The fact of the story between the 4-some running so long where it was Lance and Lorie with Leslie and Lucas and then the couples constantly switched up.

How long was Lucas Prentiss (played by Tom Ligon) on the show? Is there any episodes that you can show that have him in it??

Tom Ligon (Lucas Prentiss) was on Y&R from 1978-1982. I don't have any episodes of Y&R from his run, just the opening credits.

I always preferred the first Leslie and Christine Brooks to the ones in this intro.

Chris' name was Christabel not Christine. I know this through my research of the show, but I wasn't born until the Fosters and Brooks were long gone as I was born in 1986.
