  • @TELLICOTJ i absolutely despise those tires, even flat they hardly ever hook. of course im used to bfg mud terrains, which are a ton softer, but i like the way the maxxis are tough as nails. never have to worry about cutting them on the trail.

I run the same tires on my rig as well and I agree that they are an insanely thick sidewall. I had to cut custom Anti-coning rings for my beadlocks when I installed them. Great multi-use trail tire.

  • What size tires are those on the TJ? They look pretty thin, but they're so tall it's hard for me to tell. Regardless, both nice rigs. Looks like a lot of fun.

  • Those Maxxis Creepy Crawlers have a ridiculously thinck sidewall. My buddy ran 6 pounds in them and they still had full sidewall. Now that he's on beadlocks he doesn't run any air and they still have a pretty good wall in them. That's 35s on a relatively stock TJ.

  • they probably were, it's just not as visible because of the super stiff sidewalls.

  • nice rigs looks like your could air down some?
